As we are now moving forward to examine how best deploy our THOR SERIES of WIND TURBINE ENGINES™ (and with whom), market conditions and circumstances in the United States have clearly changed. Even from a year ago, the market seems much more ‘risk averse’ when it comes to investing into newly planned wind farms.

When I and my colleague attended the American Wind Energy Association show in Chicago earlier this year, attendee emotions were quite mixed.

On the one hand, developers, Independent Power Producers, utilities, even independent speculators who had advanced their wind farm developments or projects even to the point of permitting, were now questioning whether it made more sense for them to just outright back away from purchase commitments; just to buy more time. Needed time to evaluate and observe what the Obama administration was going to do, if anything, with carbon credits, greenhouse gas emissions and incentives for green or renewable energy producers and/or their O.E.M’s, concerning the United States energy market.

If one were to become a green I.P.P., what awaits them on the other side?? Are there going to less or more governmental subsidies? Will electricity prices fall or rise with green credits or cap-and-trade programs being introduced? Will, one day, electricity rates catch up to the rate of inflation which other energy sources, namely oil, has seen in its run-up? The uncertainty which this has created has led to many a cancelled order for wind power equipment.

What we ourselves are now looking for, are wind farm developers who have either put their current projects on hold or who may look to abandon their wind farm developments altogether in these uncertain times. With the great advancements which we have made in efficiencies and capacity factors, the potential cash-flow and returns-on-investment can and will become significantly affected for any potential wind farm. With lower heights, higher densities of equipment and simply more power being produced each year for dollar spent, even marginal sites can be turned into much more profitable sites for the first time using WIND TURBINE ENGINES ™.

If you or your company now have under consideration doing a wind farm or have developed a wind farm site which has, for whatever reason, not been brought to completion, please contact us as soon as possible. We may have exciting news for you going forward. One can email:  Stephan@envisionary.info with their contact details along with any details concerning the project itself. (Use WIND FARM in the subject line of your email.) We may very well have the solution which you have been searching for. Let’s talk.
